Lead Toxicity And The Four Lows Pattern | Case Study With Dr. Robert Selig

In this case study of a 55 year old female patient of mine, her first HTMA indicated a four low pattern and fast oxidation.

Adults should never be in fast oxidation.

This means that sodium and potassium are elevated in comparison to calcium and magnesium.

Sodium and potassium always represents the adrenal glands, so we want to find out what is causing the stress in her adrenals.

We see toxic metals like lead, mercury, and aluminum which contribute to the problem.

Phosphorus is low, and whenever we see this it indicates low energy—it is the P in ATP.

Anytime the phosphorus is below a 12, it is usually due to mold or candida.

This is the number one culprit for causing low phosphorus.

This patient has gut dysbiosis, toxic metals, and a four low pattern.

A four low pattern is a collapse, and a month in the Bahamas will not fix it.

Four lows means you are in a state of adrenal burnout, exhaustion, depletion, and heading toward death.

Behind a four low pattern, there are psychological, emotional, and physical health problems.

The number one problem with the four low pattern is calcium dysregulation.

One of the main contributors to calcium dysregulation is the toxic metal LEAD.

Lead displaces calcium, zinc, copper, iron, and chromium.

Lead is the metal of Saturn.

Saturn takes 29-30 years to rotate around the sun.

Lead is lodged deep in the bones and brain, so can take 30 years to displace deep levels of lead.

This is why we do serial hair tissue mineral analyses—because it has to go slow.

We have to work with the adrenals and with the portals of elimination as we start to excavate these metals out.

Lead has a profound effect on the blood as it inhibits the enzymes involved in hemoglobin synthesis.

Lead weakens the bones because it displaces calcium.

This includes degenerative joint diseases, arthritis, chronic back pains, gout—lead toxicity affects the entire musculoskeletal system.

Lead also affects the nervous system causing anxiety, depression, and mental retardation.

If you don’t deal with the lead, you can expect to die faster as lead is the metal of Saturn representing death, aging, darkness, and time.

On her second HTMA, lead, cadmium, and nickel went up, and zinc skyrocketed!

Zinc belongs inside the cell.

When it’s showing up high, it’s telling me that it is being excreted, whether through blood, urine, feces, or the hair.

This means the zinc enzymes aren’t doing their job in the cells.

Lead and cadmium displace zinc, and we can see that happening with this patient.

The Na/K ratio improved on the third test telling us that the adrenals are picking up and metals will start to be mobilized out.

The toxic metals decrease and the zinc decreases indicating that zinc is starting to get into the cells.

A four low pattern means burnout and complete exhaustion, so it will take time to improve.

The Na/K ratio improved on the 4th test, and lead increased 7x!

The adrenals picking up means that lead can leave the cells and calcium can get in, so calcium levels drop.

It takes a lot of energy to mobilize these metals out, so phosphorus goes down.

This can cause a struggle with symptoms like exhaustion and mood swings, so one must have the drive to push through.

Otherwise this will become cancers, Parkinson’s, and brain dementia diseases.

Getting the metals out is always a celebration!

Four lows = Calcium dysregulation

What’s blocking calcium from getting into the cells?

Lead is the main culprit.

Removing lead will increase the vital force so this is important for all of us.
